The Mary PEYTON, Elizabeth PEYTON and Thomas PEYTON who married in Granville County, seem to be some of those “small children” of Robert and Ann PEYTON. Although the given name “Thomas” was not much used in these PEYTON or RUSH families, Robert PEYTON was descended from Captain Thomas HARRISON of Prince William County, Virginia.
